I was surprised how good this was. I expected it to be more like jerky as far as texture and dryness. These chicken primal bars had excellent flavor but were very moist. I'll purchase these again when they go on sale.

    Great road food!

I travel for work. Caveman helps me stay away from crappy fast food, gas station fare and carb-loaded, over-processed restaurant meals. Thanks!

    Backpackable!

Our Venturing crew has multiple food issues and is gluten-free. The Mesquite BBQ bars and Chicken Bacon Bars are great for backpacking! 1-2 bars gives the calories and protein needed in a neat, compact package that handles the heat--a nice break from meat sticks :-) Many thanks for the great customer service and samples that helped us make our decision to buy 5 boxes of your products to take with us on our 12-day trek at Philmont!!

These are way better than Epic's Chicken Sriracha Bar

I just bought one of these Caveman Mesquite BBQ bars and one of the Epic Chicken Sriracha bars at Lucky Supermarket. This was my first time trying one of the "meat bars". I ate the Epic one first, and it was way over seasoned. It was too spicy for me, and kind of greasy. All I could taste was pepper. (Even after I washed it down with tons of ice water, I couldn't get the taste out of my mouth.) Also, it reminded me of pepperoni. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the Caveman bar. It was the perfect amount of spice for me and not greasy. I thought it was a higher quality product. I am a fan!
